A delicious wholefoods breakfast, like-minded people, meditation, Qi Gong, kombucha brewing – this is just some of the good stuff we experienced this morning when we attended a Wellineux Atelier MasterClass at Greenfields in Albert Park. Today’s masterclass was on the topic of the mind, and its importance in supporting wellness.
Starting the day with a nourishing wholefoods breakfast is a wonderful way to fuel your body for a productive day ahead and also to show yourself self-care.
We loved reconnecting with our inspiring friend Diana from Body Be Well (and buying some of her delish muesli) at the market stalls, but also meeting new people like Mel from My Kindness Kitchen, Angie from Haus of Health, naturopath Hilary (another Hilary!) from new skincare range Maaemo, and the lovely ladies Liz and Kirsty from Buf Girls.
Pilates instructor Victoria from Holistic HQ kicked things off by leading us in a calming meditation. Amanda McMillan, founder of Wellineux, took us through a short workshop on the mind with easy and practical tips to incorporate into daily life. We loved hearing the knowledge and passion of the founder of The Good Brew kombucha, before heading outside for a session of Qi Gong with Nicole from Pursuit of Wellness in the warm morning sun.
We then got to head home with a good-bag overflowing with goodies, including a copy of “Eat Well” by Wellbeing Magazine. #loveagoodgoodybag
The next MasterClass is on Friday 3 November in Port Melbourne and is on the topic of “Growth”, another one of Wellineux’s eight pillars of wellness. If you’re interested in heading along, click HERE to read more and book.
